Saturday August 16, 2025 brought a second protest to the Duke Energy Trail Overpass, this one running from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, focused on Trump’s attempts to take over Washington D.C. and potentially other American cities. The morning protest the same day (Close Alligator Alcatraz) is documented separately. Thank you to everyone who endured the extremely hot afternoon to make this happen, your willingness to stand on a bridge in August heat is the kind of commitment that gets noticed by passing drivers and documented by local cameras.
