Join us for our monthly meeting! Our mission is to model and promote grassroots engagement and participatory democracy and to ensure the values and interests of all are prioritized over corporate power and wealth. We are committed to social justice that honors and defends the rights of all.
This month, we have a representative from the ACLU of FL who will present Know Your Rights While Protesting training. We’ll discuss what you need to know to safely protest in your community or campus and what you should look out for. If you are new to protesting, a seasoned activist, or just looking to know more about Florida laws around protesting, this is the training for you.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED as seating is limited. There will be a Zoom option available.
🤝MUTUAL AID COLLECTION for United for the Community. Items needed: $20 gift cards for Walmart, Publix, Target, etc. Hygiene products for women, diapers sizes 3-5, baby wipes, baby formula (Enfamil), paper plates, plastic utensils, ziploc bags.
🚗Carpooling encouraged. Please park in the lot along the south side of the building adjacent to Curlew Road.
