Oct 21, 2023 People Powered Elections Along with other local grassroots groups’ leaders, we hosted a People Powered Elections & People Powered Education event. The Election event purpose was to gather active Pinellas area grassroots organizations’ leaders or representatives to share their GOTV experiences: what worked, what didn’t work and what creative ideas can be shared for the upcoming election cycle to inform and get unlikely voters to the polls. Successes and ineffective efforts will be shared amongst the groups as a collaborative learning exercise.
We are asking each group to bring new and creative ideas to present. This non-partisan effort will create relationships improving each individual group’s potential for future successes. A similar event was held to focus on support Public Education.
