Our first meeting of the year was a success! We welcomed 150+ in person and another 45 on Zoom (a new record). Thank you to all of our guest speakers, volunteers, and all who attended!
Mary Fahy from Voter Action Pinellas (VAP) presented their approach for the Midterm Elections coming this November and relayed information on the Reach app. Sgt. Eric Rhodes discussed the National Day of Action on Feb. 17. Eric Gerard from Indivisible Mid-Pinellas went through the importance of building a progressive pipeline of candidates into the future. Phil Stone talked recent updates to ICE resistance. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 3 at St. Mark Lutheran Church at 1120 Curlew Road, Dunedin, Florida 34698. This meeting includes special training and advance registration is required. In solidarity.
