Amendments & Petitions

Get these on the 2026 ballot. In order for these Florida constitutional amendments to appear on the ballot, enough registered voters must sign the petitions and return them to their county supervisor of elections.

Need Petitions or Have Questions?

Nancy Armitage is our Pinellas County petition ambassador. She has petitions ready to go, knows every deadline, and can answer your questions, whether you’re collecting signatures yourself or just want to sign one.

Email Nancy: [email protected]

Critical deadline: Petitions must be submitted by December 31, 2025. Florida requires 1 million verified signatures for a constitutional amendment to make the ballot, every signature counts, and the math is unforgiving.

Citizen Initiative Petitions

Sign them! Help collect them! Sign and/or help circulate state-wide, non-partisan Citizen Initiative petitions to get two proposed Florida Constitutional amendments on the 2026 ballot so we can vote on them.

Right to Clean and Healthy Waters

A proposed constitutional amendment to protect Florida’s waterways, coastlines, and drinking water from pollution and environmental degradation. UPDATE: The State’s passage of House Bill 1205 which took immediate effect, in the middle of our campaign, has created insurmountable challenges for any grassroots initiative.  While we regroup and reimagine things for a 2028 ballot effort, we want to relay our DEEP GRATITUDE to all the AMAZING VOLUNTEERS and SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS who have carried this passionate endeavor with inspiring commitment.  Thank you!

Provide Medicaid Coverage to Eligible Low-Income Adults

Expand Medicaid using Federal funds from the Affordable Care Act to cover eligible low-income adults in Florida who currently fall in the coverage gap.

Help Us Get These on the Ballot

Every signature counts. Sign the petitions, share them with friends and family, and help collect signatures in your community.
